My favorite game this season was when we came back from being two down from Cliff Lee and the Rangers. We ended up winning the game 6-4 thanks to a few errors on the Rangers defense and a few timely hits for us.
So, what was your favorite game of the seaon for your team?
BQ: What was the worst loss for your team this season?|||Best: August 12th. Dodgers @ Phillies. Phillies win 10-9
Horrid game to watch for the first 7 innings. Then in the 8th inning, we scored 4 runs and got within 4 runs of a win. And in the bottom of the 9th we got the bases loaded with a hit batsmen, and two walks I believe. And then Clutch Ruiz got a hit, and we won the game. One of the most amazing games I ever watched in my life.
*Oh and plus, some little kid sitting right over the Phillies dugout was doing VooDoo on Broxton for the whole 9th inning... It was very comical.
Worst: First Mets series at Citi Field.
We got swept, and shut out for all three games... demoralizing at the least.|||-I liked against the Rays when Nick Swisher had the walk off on the day of the Steinbrenner and Bob Sheppard tribute. That was a very emotional game.
-I also liked when we were down 9-5 in the top of the 9th against the Dodgers, tied it up, and won in extra innings because of Robbie Cano.
-The game against the Rays when Cano hit the go ahead blast.
-Against Cliff Lee like you Rays fan(: we were down 6-1 and kept chipping away until we took the lead.
BQ: Against the Indians. Joba blew a 13-5 lead. I nearly cried.|||Atlanta Braves:
By far, the best game was against the Cincinnati Reds when they were up 9-2 in the 9th inning and the Braves came back to win 10-9 on a walk-off grand slam by Brooks Conrad.
By far, the worst game was against the Colorado Rockies when Ubaldo Jimenez pitched a no-hitter against the Braves.|||My favorite game was when the Padres scored 18 runs in Petco which is the record for most runs in Pecto Park. I'm so glad I decided to go. The previous record was established at the first home game this year when they scored 17.
BQ: When the Padres tagged Cliff Lee for 8 runs (7 earned) and still lost. We gave up 15 runs. Good God I thought it would never stop.|||Last weekend's Rangers and Red Sox HR derby, the game in which the two teams hit a combined 9 HR's while the Rangers were also rallying from an 8-2 deficit. Then, Nelson Cruz capped off the thriller with homer in extras off Wakefield to win it for the team.|||The Giants dramatic comeback against the Dodgers. Bochy caught Torre breaking a rule and called it against him, Lincecum almost hitting Kemp's face with 2 fastballs, Kershaw getting ejected because he hit Rowand's leg intentionally. %26amp; after all that, the Giants ended up with victory.
BQ: Today, lost to the Cards 9-0. Very disappointed....|||I have two.
My favorite was the Yankees beating your Rays off Swisher's walk off the tribute to The Boss!
Our best game of the season being down I think 6-1 to Texas while Cliff Lee was in to beat the Rangers. Andrus tripled in the bottom 9 and Mo didn't let him score.
BQ :
First game of the season CHOP HAD TO GET DIAREHEA|||St. Louis:
Favorite game- The only game I attended in St. Louis this year, Matt Holliday hit a walk-off double against the Dodgers to win 5-4.
Worst loss- Gave up 9 runs in the bottom of the 9th to lose 12-9 to the Rockies on July 6... just an awful, awful finish.|||By far the game on August 7 against the Rockies. The Pirates blew a 5-2 ninth inning lead and then gave up two more runs in the tenth inning. Pedro Alvarez then hit a walk off 3-run homer, his first career walk off homerun.
BQ: I really don't know. Too many to name, LOL.|||lol... how ironic
my favorite was Cliff Lee complete game shutout against the Reds,,, (I was there)
BQ it wasn't just a game, it was a series against the White Sox somewhere in April or May if I can remember right... lost 3 games all from walk offs/blown saves|||Back in June where the Twins scored 5 in the bottom of the 9th against the Phillies and ended up winning in extras.
BQ- Thursday, against the Sox, 0-11 loss. Being that it was against the White Sox, it made it worse.
:(|||Best - Yankees rally for 4 runs in the ninth inning against the best closer in the National League, then Robbie Cano hits a home run in the tenth inning to win it
Worst - Jabba the Hutt blows a 6 run lead against Cleveland|||Beating the Yanks 5-4 after Ernie Harwell died. Jose Valverde struck out Swisher, Teixera and A-Roid to end the game. I was there, too. Great game.
BQ: All losses to the Twins and ChiSox.|||I have 2 of them. The game when when the Yanks Homered twice of Jonanthan Papelbon %26amp; beat the Sox after being behind. The other being when the Yanks came back from a 6-2 deficit %26amp; beat the Dodgers.|||any game they could actually get a win out of
BQ: just all the stupid games that they should've won then they made stupid plays or the bullpen blew it
just nothing good can be taken from this season for the mets|||Yankees coming back against Texas and Cliff Lee
BQ: Getting shut out by tthe Royals 1-0 by a scrub pitcher|||The George Steinbrenner tribute Yankees game on July 16.|||Mets
Best: That 20 inning game in April where they beat the Cards, 2-1
Worst: Blowout loss to D-Backs|||When Brooks Conrad hit a walkoff grand slam against the Reds :)
GO BRAVES!|||Nick Swisher, walk off hit for the boss, against who ? Tampa.|||I'm a reds fan. the favorite game of the season so far, was when the reds beat the cubs 3-2 in wrigley field. my brother and friends took me there for my bachelor party, first time to wrigley and it was a great experience that every baseball fan should have.
worst game so far was the braves game where the reds were up 9-2 in the ninth inning and ended up losing 10-9 after cordero gave up a grand slam on the first pitch he threw
