I have HL2 but you can't really make large open spaces and dense grass and foliage. Is there any game engine that is more suitable and relatively easy to get into?|||Halo 3 if you have balnk maps of Sandbox.
It has 3 levels to make maps on. a sky area, Land area. and cave area
go to youtube for maps other people made.|||Far cry 2 is amazing you can make like a ddeath star lol|||Half-Life is easier, but its old and the work probably won't pay off.|||Unreal ed is pretty neat
