Now if you have installed the program on your laptop, and you want to copy it, you must copy the files that you have downloaded and not the one that you installed. If you copy the installed files, or the icons (which I think you are doing in this case) the program will not work because all the other hidden files are not copied, even if you are able to copy the files. And even in most cases if it works the game will not work properly.
But as long as you are able to copy the downloaded files and you installed on the desktop, you can install the software and use the keys that you already paid for, if and only if the game does not require you to connect on the Internet where it can verify the key.
However if the game is designed to require connectivity, the developers or company may require you purchase a new key or increase the number of systems that will be using the copy of the games' license.

|||I don't think you can copy the game you will have to actually install it on your laptop. Look to see if you downloaded the install executable for the game and try copying that over to your laptop and installing it.|||Try burning the game in a cd and then put it in your laptop or conect your laptop with your pc with a usb cable ang give it a try.|||you need to copy the setup file, the file you actually downloaded. not sure it will install with the same key, they may monitor that somehow|||on your hard drive there will be a folder with the of the game on it that should contain all the game and you should be able to transfer that. the other way is that you donloaded it and you can email the company who supplied it and tell them the details they ask for and they should send it to your new computer via email. you must email customer support if you choose to email them.|||Find the folder which contains that game's set up file. For an easy way to find that folder , just right click the shortcut of that game and select " find target " . When you find that folder , just copy it and paste it to a flash drive , or you can burn it on a CD , or you can connect your laptop to your desktop with a LAN|||It depends on the game. Some programs you can simply copy the directory via a CD-Rom or across a network. Find the directory the game by right clicking on the icon and looking at its properties. My PC came with Nero - maybe you can download this or otherwise buy I guess.|||if you have a cd burning program go to it then see if you can copy files if so then you want to go to your p[rogram files folder and find your game take the whole folder and put it into your burning program then burn it. it should work good luck|||copy it from program files folder, or go to the control pannel and check it if where it was saved or what folder it was saved, or try to remember where you have save it before you RUN the installer. find out where you have saved the installer|||in order to use the game on your laptop, you have to install the game on it. just copying the icon on your desktop to your laptop won't work, you have to use the same file you downloaded from the website and put that on your laptop to run the game. If you have lost that file then you may be able to log into the place where you bought the game online and download it again. otherwise, you'll most likely have to pay for it again.
