What was that game for Linux that has motorcycles, where you have to crash the opponents vehicle?

I saw my friend running Ubuntu a few years ago and he was playing a 3D game that was set in a virtual world. He was driving a motorcycle type vehicle around that would leave a trail behind it. He would then try to get the opponents motorcycle's to crash into his trail while avoid their trails. I was wonder what the name of this game was? And if anyone knows what it is, what is the website for it?|||It's called Armagetron, it's based off the movie Tron.

How do you mount a game that has multiple expansions for it so that the game and all the expansions work?

I've recently acquired The Sims2 full package with all the expansions previously made for it. I can get the first game to mount fine on Daemon tools but I can't get any of the expansions to work. They keep asking for the disc. How do Install the expansions from their ISO files so that I can play the game with all of them working? |||The games probably have copy protection in them so that you can't mount them from an ISO file, which does not support the emulation of copy protection techniques.

.mdf files I believe do, so if you make images of the disks in .mdf format, that should get you working.

I use Alcohol 52% myself personally, but Dameon Tools and Alcohol are basically the same program (as in, they are almost identical, their copy protection emulation systems are designed in tandem with each other), but alcohol is prettier.

What is the most expensive to be produced video game ever created?

They talk about how much movies cost to make, how much revenue they brought in, and what there net profits were all the time.

I wonder what the most amount of money ever spent on making a video game was, and which video game it was.

Note, I am talking about the game itself - the software and everything that went into a particular one (not counting marketing/advertising/packaging) - just the production of the game. And I am not talking about game consoles or hardware. Just the game.|||Most games come about as just a thought in someone鈥檚 head. Considering most companies that make games already have the hardware they need to develop a game, they won鈥檛 have any cost there. Id say you would have to see what Company pays its employees the most, and you will have your answer.|||I believe the game was Steel Battalion it cost around $80 buck's that's alot for a game!

What video game should i get? Star wars the force unleashed ultimate sith edition or Batman Arkham Asylum?

What video game should i get? Star wars the force unleashed ultimate sith edition or Batman Arkham Asylum? Both games seem good to me, and both Star wars the force unleashed 2 is coming up and so is batman arkham asylum 2. So which one should i get?|||Batman Arkham Asylum. Totally re playable. I played the force unleashed and wasn't that impressed but don't let that turn you away from playing it yourself. I'm just saying, try Batman Arkham Asylum first cause you'll totally like it.|||Personally I have never been a fan of Batman and I must admit, there are different versions of star wars F.U depending on the console you buy it from. I have it for the Wii and I love it but it does get boaring after a while. I am not recommending batman because I fancy going against everyone else !

|||Batman, hands down. Force Unleashed is half the game Arkham Asylum is. Batman has tons of replay value, the story is excellent, and the combat is some of the best for it's genre.|||Get Batman, it was way better and longer than the force unleashed. I got bored with star wars after I beat it in like 6 hours and haven't touched it since. Batman is fun butt kicking action that has good replay value.

What is a good game design software for developing a card game?

I have not programming knowledge and i want to develop an interactive 2 to 4 player card game. I don't know where to start. I have the details of the game figured out already|||1. Download the TRIAL version of Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 and another program called "Craagle" (Google it and it should be the first result).

2. Open "Craagle" and click SERIALS and search for Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 and it will give you the serial number to make it the full professional version for free.

Notice: When you install Microsoft Visual Studio 2008, make sure to be offline and block it from accessing the internet after setup and now you have a great program for free.

I am a passionate gamer, what college should I attend to enter the video game industry?

Hello people, i am a senior, and i need to start thinking about college. I am a very passionate video gamer. I excel in many different categories but I really want to enter the video game industry so much! I have researched schools such as ITT Tech and WestWood but both have been reported as scams in the past. I really want the most out of my education and I want to be somebody in the Industry. Any help would be greatly appreciated.|||One option is to go to a regular university and double or triple major. A double major in creative writing or drama or art combined with a major in computer science with an emphasis in mathematics would be a good start. You also need to develop excellent skills in mathematics and physics or photoshop and 3d modeling programs like softimage, autocad starting now. Try to build a lot of games as a hobby while in college and get some friends to help you out.

Building computer games really requires a mixture of talents.|||Nintend of Japan University.
