How early before a baseball game does batting practice start?

i'm going to my first red sox game in anaheim in a couple weeks, and i'd LOVE to catch batting practice. The game starts at 3pm, so how early before the game should i get there to catch practice?|||It starts about an hour and a half before. I'd get there about 12.|||well..most MLB stadium gates open 2 hours before the game starts...so i would get there asap...which is 1...batting practice for the visiting team starts around 30 min to and hour before the game starts so...the redsox will be doing batting practice around 1 30|||The batting practise is usually 1 hour and a half before everygame so i would get there around 1 or 1:30
