What game is about a rabbit holding a gun?

I remember when i was a kid, i played a platform game. But all i can remember was that you were a rabbit with a gun. It looked a little like Earthworm Jim and had a world based on musical instruments.|||Rayman?|||Was it RR'd?

What is the best game on addicting games?

I am always bored and i love addicting games, but i feel like i played every game! Do you know any good games? I dont like shooting games, and i prefer the games withoout the bomb next to them.|||Age of War, it never gets old (Well it isn't really old!) I always complete the game, but I always go back on it. There are many different levels. Seriously try out this game, it's awesome!|||my favorite games would prob be karoshi suicide 2 jelly blox and bloons tower defense

How many cards and game pieces should the 1993 Risk Game have?

I bought the board game from a yard sale and was told they believed it to be complete. Is there anyway for me to check. I cannot find out how many armies, infantry etc pieces there should be. Thank you!|||I think I have the '93 version. Mine has 72 cards, 1 for each country (so 42 in all), 2 wild, and 28 missions. I'm not sure how many of each army piece there should be, I guarantee that if it has ever been played before it's not entirely complete. Those dang little pieces have a way of hiding in the most obscure places. I have lost about half of the pieces to my game, but it's still playable. Just combine different colors or use little pieces of paper or pieces from a different game. It won't look as cool but at least you can play a game.

Where can I download the full game of mugen?

What game should i get for ps3?Prince of persia the forgotten sands or split second?

What game should i get for ps3?Prince of persia the forgotten sands or split second? Can u free roam on Prince of persia and does it have replayability?|||You should try out the Split Second demo on the PlayStation Network. That way you can try for yourself if you even like playing the game in the first place.

As for Prince of Persia, it's a favorite platformer and action fighting game series of mine, so I always recommend it if you like those genres. It really does look like a ton of fun to play, check out these videos:

http://www.videogamesblogger.com/2010/05鈥?/a>|||get modern warfare and play that till ur eyes pop. it addicting|||split second is what my friend said he loves the ps3 but personally we both think xbox is better from the experience not the systems|||split second. all price of persia games are not good. like mostly flippy tricks..not any good fight parts|||Split second awesome game!|||Get Split/Second because every time you race a single track it turns out to be different then the last time you did. As for Prince its ok but Split/Second is still better. The Only Downside is its made by disney(not really downside but just makes the game look dumb).|||Prince of persia has no online so once u have completed it you will not be going back to it, if u like the prince of persias on ps2 you'll love this one. split second is new, fresh and fun. its not ur ordinary driving simulation it has online which will keep you playing, it is abit childish like need for speed with the nitro and extremely cray drifting and driving.

How often do computer game companies take legal action against game pirating?

In other words, what are the chance of being caught downloading a pc game illegally?|||Prosecution against online crime, such as illegal downloads has been hard to tackle, but a recent win in the courts last month against suppliers of illegal music sharing means that games companies are now taking an interest in this, as there is more of a guarantee they will win the case. In the UK, five major games companies, including Codemasters, have already started looking into this.

However, it is likely that they will nip the problem in the bud with suppliers and sellers rather than the users.|||Some ISPs are taking some action against file sharers but for noe it only amounts to a letter saying they know you are doing it.

A small tip is not to ask things like this on site's like this because if federal organizations are on here and in the mood for arresting some people they can find where you are from.|||Id say the chance is higher than pirating music but less than pirating movies, for some reason the movie industry is very anal and upset about pirating, their money stingy.|||0.0000000001 % id say, they dont care enough to take legal action if you are using them for personal use. They only notice you if you start advertising that your selling

How does the Godfather game compare to the movies in terms of violence?

Is the Godfather Game more or less violent than the movies. I want to get the game and I have already seen the movies. But my mom says that it is probably too violent. Can Game Theory be applied in the 2010 UK General Election when deciding between Labour and The Conservatives?

Game theory is, briefly, the idea that two options are presented to a decision-maker. One option is higher risk because it could either be a lot better than the second option or a lot worse. Whereas the second option is the safer option because it does not offer the worst outcome but at the same time does not offer the best possible outcome.|||there is barely any difference between "new" labour and the conservatives, they are both right-wing parties!|||It could work. The conservatives were clearly in the lead for a long time but now labour is taking the lead and is expected to win the general election again. I doubt the tories will have the will after another defeat.

What game is better lego harry potter or alien vs predator?

My brother thinks that harry potter is better than alien vs Predator think alien vs predator is better wich of this is the best game?|||Alien vs Predator. How can you even ask that? Lego games are so damn stupid.|||Sorry, Jack, I don't agree.

And I'm a hardcore gamer.

AVP was a HORRIBLE game.

Lego games are NOT stupid. They just get that title from idiots like Jack, who give those kinds of games a bad name. A few months ago, I also thought they were stupid. When I got a new xbox, it came with 2 games free, one of them was Lego Batman. I had SO much fun playing that game.

I didn't care for Lego Indiana Jones 2 and I wouldn't get the rock band one's because I already have the originals...but I have Lego HP pre-ordered and it looks really cool.

You can look at the trailers online @ gameinformer.com or youtube.

What game could you do that involves numeracy and for what age range?

Please give me rules on how to play the game.

Thanks.|||Some 5 year olds in my family enjoy playing with poker chips. Spread a few out on the table, and ask the child to give you say 4 blue chips and two green ones etc. I even try this in another language and they can still do it.

Or there's what I call pairs. With a pack of playing cards (just the numerical ones, not Kings Queens or Jacks) lay them out face down in rows. The child then has two turn two cards face up, if the cards match (two threes for example) then he/she keeps the trick. If they don't match, then they are replaced face down where they were. this becomes a memory test as well as number association. Depending on the age of the kid then you could use all the cards, or insist that he pairs both red threes and not a red/black combination.

For the over tens, games like Monopoly involve a lot of numeracy especially if the child is the banker.|||Darts involves a lot of subtraction, and can improve numeracy. All sorts of variations are possible, like bigger throwing games in the park with a ball and different numbers written on bits of card ('first to a total of 100', or etc). The details could be varied to suit just about any age group.

Orienteering uses 'practical numeracy'; even if distances and angles aren't being measured, the activity makes you estimate how far you are from different landmarks, and weigh up the benefits and problems that would arise from using taking different routes. Again, there are different ways of organising the activity so that it can be enjoyed by any age group, or by all members of a family team.

A less active numeracy game is Cribbage. Most card games involve a degree of number-work, but this is particularly important in cribbage, where the card values in a hand are first combined in a kind of 'trading auction', and then re-combined with an extra card. Simplified versions can be devised so that children and young people can practice some of the same mental skills; this might involve dealing fewer cards, or setting easier scoring combinations.

How important do you think video game women are to kids' perspectives on gender?

I was thinking the other day about Chun Li in the Street Fighter games. She was really a rather breakthrough character, in that she was the first one (so far as I know) to be a hero rather than damsel. Moreover, she was not created as an inferior fighter to the males. Of the 8 original characters, she was the fastest fighter (hence the one I was the best at till I got to play Vega.)

Contrast this with video games in the early 80s. Any females would either be nonexistant or objects to be rescued--a trend that continued well after Chun Li in some cases. I never thought of women as lessers, as a child. I know some people have strong female role models in their real life, but I didn't, and not everyone else did either. Sometimes stories are all you have to go by.

So how important do you think this is anyway? For all those kids who have no other strong woman in their world, how much difference do you think a video game character can make?|||I think it can make a huge difference. As someone who plays video games like crazy, I know about the hours one can invest into it. RPGs, for instance, can take up to 80 hours of game play, and most RPGs in the last 10-15 years have had plenty of strong female characters, usually fully dressed, even though the primary lead character is male most of the time. For instance, right now I'm playing Xenosaga, and about half the playable characters so far are female or female looking androids, only one of which really shows any flesh.

Other games I like such as the Resident Evil series and Parasite Eve have strong female lead characters who definitely look hot but are dressed reasonably and can kick ***. For instance, Aya Brea from Parasite Eve is a New York City police detective who looks good but her outfit is basically jeans, t-shirt, and a leather jacket.

So these days, you can have a video game that satisfies my "horny adolescent bloodlust" side without compromising the women characters involved. Everyone wins.

Unfortunately, it seems that it's the Grand Theft Auto type games that have everyone's attention (I don't mind violence in video games- nothing I enjoy more than blowing heads off zombies in RE 2- but beating up hookers is a bit sadistic for my tastes). But really, most games on the market aren't like that.

EDIT: Well, kicking *** is usually not her only redeeming characteristic; women in these games are often quick witted and intelligent. For isntance, Shion, the lead in Xenosaga is a genius who is in charge of the development of a powerful battle android called KOS-MOS. And as far as attractiveness goes, how many unattractive lead male characters are there?

To Robinson: I actually haven't played Xenogears, though I really want to. I've played most major RPGs since the early 90s; that's one of the few I couldn't get my hands on.|||When it comes to videogames and the process of creating a world in their mind, it all comes down to how they are raised. If they are raised to think not to think as women as lesser beings, then it wouldn't matter if they only play games that only have the female as damsels in distress and that goes with any other situation. But games can act as a trigger for a way of thinking if they let it happen.

PS: Videogames aren't the real world.|||I think they need to put some clothes on them. They are turning women into objects at an early age. Then they grow up and watch porn.|||Xenosaga, eh KoreaGuy?!

Did you play the original Xenogears? Best RPG ever in my opinion.

On another note, maybe the whole concept of being scantily clad is tied a little more to action and less to something with an actual story...

Parasite Eve was awesome too- I played that game at least three times, which is more than I can say for just about anything else. Great game with a great female lead.

I think stories and games like that kind of make you disappointed with reality, though.

Getting more to the point... this is a difficult question for me to answer, because I can't make a judgment call as to how video games affected me in relation to gender, but I do have a mother, so that kind of botches up my perspective on this.|||Videogames and especially computergames are waaay to technically and to stressfull to be considered "fun" by the vast majority of girls. Chunli is an early thomb raider meaning throwing in juggs in the product so that guys have something to look at.|||hehe, do you remember "justin bailey?"

in the 80s, Metroid broke the mold by having Samus Aran appear as a female. It was meant to be a HUGE surprise because there were no strong female characters in games of that era. The instruction manual even called Samus a male.

the thing about fighting game female characters is that they are always portrayed to be beautiful, thin, agile and fast. women in these games never get to be heavy hitters, and they're always ballerina-like, with acrobatic moves and dance worthy choreography.

Street fighter 3 third strike did have Makoto, the boyish looking young girl who packs a wallop. But fast, weak, and pretty characters like Xianghua, Sophitia, and Talim (soul calibur) far outnumber these exceptions.

we all know how popular (and profitable) games are, but they are not the only source of socialization for young people. women can be objectified in any form of entertainment. i don't think this is unique to video games.

but in the case of games, a lot of times it's based on fighting, shooting guns, ect, and that's not something that is commonly associated with women. a fantasy or sci fi setting helps sometimes because it lets the developers be a bit more flexible with that kind of thing.

the key is to not let these things become the only influence, and to always be aware that girls play video games now too.

What is a better game, the original Carcassonne or Carcassonne hunters and gatherers?

I've played carcassonne hunter and gatherers, but I've never played the original game with towns and roads. I know the original has a lot of expansions, too. Both games are the same idea too right? What is a better buy?|||As a sales representative for Rio Grande Games and as an instructor, I can tell you from experience that Hunters %26amp; Gatherers is the easiest version of Carcassonne to teach because it has the fewest rules and restrictions. H%26amp;G has no expansions. However, anyone who is familiar with any version of Carcassonne will be confortable with any variation. Enjoy the game!|||Seems like they are the same game, bud. Just limits your options by playing hunters and gatherers...since there are no expansions.|||its just like having star wars monopoly, and then regular monopoly, neither is better than the other.

Is it possible to activate a Ninetendo Wii Game without going to the start menu?

In my Georgia Tech dorm my buddies and I play Super Smash Bros. Brawl on the Nintendo Wii. However reacently the Nintendo Wii Sensor broke, so we cannot seclect the game we wish to play. Is there a way to go directly to the game?

PS. We can play the game without the sensor, just cannot seclect to start the game...

Thanks!|||There is no way to have the system start whatever game is inserted automatically. However...

The cursor can be moved with the analog stick on the Guitar Hero guitar controller or the left analog on a Classic Controller. Alternately, you could set up two heat sources (long-stem candles, incandescent bulbs, etc.) and use those in place of a sensor bar.|||just put up 2 candles on you tv(or on the bottom) and use them as the sensor bar.|||There are several way to do this. If you own Guitar Hero 3, the analog stick on the controller can move the cursor around. Also if you own a Classic Controller, it's analog stick (the left one) can move the cursor to select your game.

Another riskier (fire hazard) way to solve this problem is set up 2 candles where the ends of the sensor bar would be. It's proven to work.

If all else fails you could just buy a new one, and I recommend this one: http://www.amazon.com/Nyko-87005-Wii-Wir鈥?/a>|||You can't go immediately to the game when you have it inserted. You have to go to the Disc Channel first and press start. But yes, you can use a Guitar Hero or Classic Controller to navigate if it's broken.

If you are looking for a brand new one that is from the bundle, you can buy one from here.

How good can video game graphics can possibly get?

What if in the future you bought a sims game. You got the right hardware and everything for it; but when you turn it on. The graphics are so real you cannot tell the difference between real life (like seeing something in real life) Would you still play it?

Do you think they should put a limit on how "real" a game can look? Or even simulate? What is your view on this?|||Sims wont ever have a game like that, those games arent made for detail. It would be a different game, not nothing gay like the sims. If there was a game with graphics that good, i'd play it, but if it was a good game though. Graphics arent everything|||I would set a limit because if looks too good its going to be like watching a movie that you control.|||i don't play the sim but real like graphics would be vortal realty tech

What is your favorite failed video game experiment?

By failed video game experiment I mean a piece of hardware meant to improve gaming but failed. It could be an accessory like the power glove or the 32x for sega, or it could be a console like the 3do or the CD-I. So what is your favorite failed video game experiment?

Mine is the power glove because even though it doesn't work well it eventually evolved into the wii.|||I have to say the Sega CD, because that evolved into the gaming systems we know and love today. If Sega never ventured over to the CD, there is a possibility we would be playing Halo on a cartridge, and that would not be good for anyone!

What game is the hardest to pick a winner of this week?

also how much rides on this game for both teams|||It's gotta be the New Orleans Saints and the Atlanta Falcons. This game means almost everything in the NFC and could change the entire playoff picture. It is also possible that if the Saints lose this game, they could end up missing the playoffs entirely. With the Saints playing very well and the Falcons playing at home where they haven't lost in a long time, this should be a battle. It's always hard to count out the returning Superbowl Champions.|||I'm going to say the Steelers and Panthers. That's going to be a great matchup. It's too hard to pick who's going to win.

How to install a game that the access key code is already used?

Hi my nephew bought a game from big w and it says the activation key is already being used for this game. You have to register online and the game is not pre owned. And Big W usually don't give refunds for this game. My nephew registered his name online and it won't let him play the game. Any suggestions on what to do remember Big W don't give refunds and it says the activation key is already been used and the game is not pre owned.|||I'm sorry to say but you cannot get to install that game with a used CD-key, this system has been done to pretend pirating and sharing.

For that fact, you've been sadly, could be incorrectly, but scammed by Big W.

If the CD-key was inside the box and was sealed, then it's out of Big W's reach of hands and you'll have to call the distributor of the game. Again, distributor, not developer. There's a difference.

But if it was literally open or actually hand-madely sealed. By all hands you bought the game and agreed that the purchase includes a non-used CD-key, then you're allowed to bring your rights up and fight for the money you got scammed for.

Believe it or not, there's a court for small-cases, especially for that. Companies are really scared of it and you'll either come out of there with $5000 or a new CD-key. :3|||What is this game called?|||whats the game called ?
